THE BASICS
-
A: Bespoke tailoring means your garment is made from scratch, for you alone. We draft a unique pattern based on 35-40 measurements, cut the fabric by hand, and construct with 50+ hours of handwork. You receive multiple fittings to ensure a perfect fit. The pattern is yours permanently.
This differs from made-to-measure (modified standard pattern) and off-the-rack (altered standard sizes). London Bespoke Club follows Savile Row Bespoke Association standards - the same process used by Huntsman, Anderson & Sheppard, and traditional Savile Row houses.
-
A: Bespoke: Pattern created for your body. Hand-cut, hand-finished. Multiple fittings. Pattern kept permanently. True bespoke meets Savile Row standards.
Made-to-Measure: Standard pattern adjusted to your measurements. Machine-made. Usually one fitting. Faster and less expensive than bespoke.
Off-the-Rack: Standard size altered to fit better. Not made for you - just adjusted.
At London Bespoke Club, we offer two levels of bespoke tailoring.
i) Semi-bespoke Tailoring for Men & Women
ii) Full-bespoke for Men & Women (made in-house)
We do not offer any made-to-measure services at this time.
-
A:Semi-Bespoke Suiting (starting at $1,700 CAD): Our semi-bespoke program is efficient and practical without sacrificing quality. Every garment features extensive hand-construction, including hand-padded lapels, hand-sewn buttonholes, and hand-attached sleeves. All garments at this level use full-floating canvas construction. Timeline: 6-8 weeks. Fittings: 2-3.
True Bespoke - Bench-Made (starting at $4,800 CAD): Our bench-made program is for clients who desire the highest level of craft. Made entirely in-house by master tailor Ian MacMillan. 90% hand-finished with full canvas construction. Timeline: 12-16 weeks. Fittings: 4-5.
Final price for both programs depends on fabric choice.
-
A: Semi-Bespoke: Starting at $1,700 CAD. Most clients invest $2,000-$3,500 for a complete suit depending on fabric choice.
True Bespoke (Bench-Made): Starting at $4,800 CAD. Complete suits typically range from $5,500-$8,000 depending on fabric.
Final price depends on fabric selection.
-
A: Semi-Bespoke: 6-8 weeks from consultation to delivery.
True Bespoke (Bench-Made): 10-12 weeks due to extensive handwork.
Rush service: Available for semi-bespoke with rush fees ($250-$500 depending on dates and capacity). True bespoke cannot be rushed - the process requires time for proper hand-finishing.
Repeat clients: Once we have your pattern on file, subsequent orders are faster.

-
Semi-Bespoke: 35-40 measurements, depending on the garment we are making for you.
We also photograph your posture and assess body characteristics: one shoulder higher? Left arm longer? These details inform your pattern and overall balance of your garment.
True-Bespoke (Bench Made) : In addition to the above measurements, we will assess your measurements in more detail. Your measurements will also be taken by our in-house master tailor and cutter, Ian MacMillan
Your measurements are kept permanently and securely in our in-house managed system for future orders.
-
Semi-Bespoke: Typically 2 fittings.
Basted fitting (week 3-4): Check overall fit, proportions, balance using an instock trial fabric.
Final fitting (week 6-7): Verify adjustments, deliver garment.
True Bespoke (Bench-Made): Typically 4-5 fittings.
Baste fitting: Garment temporarily stitched to check pattern and validate first fit.
Second fitting: Check refined fit after basted fitting and pattern adjustments.
Third fitting (if needed): Perfect any remaining details and proceed with finishing details (buttonholes, etc)
Final fitting: Delivery.
Additional fittings are included if needed - no extra charge.
-
We guarantee fit. All adjustments within the first 12 months after delivery are free (assuming your body size hasn't changed significantly).
This is the advantage of bespoke - we have your pattern. Adjustments are straightforward.
Should your garment not fit to your satisfaction, we will alter it until perfect. If we still miss the mark, we will remake it at no extra cost.
Due to the custom nature of our work, we do not offer refunds.

PREMIUM DETAILS
-
Su Misura is Loro Piana's invitation-only global event showcasing the world's finest bespoke tailors. In 2025, London Bespoke Club was selected as the only Canadian tailor invited, alongside Savile Row houses and international ateliers.
Selection criteria include:
Adherence to true bespoke standards
Expertise in handling luxury fabrics
Proven track record of craftsmanship
Client satisfaction and reputation
For our clients, this means: When you choose London Bespoke Club, you're working with a tailor that Loro Piana itself trusts with their finest fabrics.
-
Loro Piana is an Italian luxury fabric house (LVMH-owned) that produces the world's finest wools, cashmeres, and silks.
They source from exclusive suppliers: Australian Merino wool, Mongolian cashmere, Peruvian vicuña. Their fabrics are known for extraordinary softness, durability, and drape.
Loro Piana fabrics are premium quality and last significantly longer than standard wools with proper care.
Our selection for Loro Piana Su Misura 2025 recognizes our expertise in working with their fabrics to the same level as Savile Row standards.
-
Savile Row (in London, UK) is the global center of bespoke tailoring. "Savile Row standards" refers to the Savile Row Bespoke Association's definition of true bespoke:
Pattern drafted individually (not modified from standard)
Cut by hand (not machine-cut)
Extensive handwork (50+ hours minimum)
Multiple fittings (at least 2-3)
Permanent pattern kept for the client
London Bespoke Club follows these standards for both our semi-bespoke and true bespoke programs. We're one of the few tailors outside the UK to hold ourselves to this definition.
-
Semi-Bespoke (starting at $1,700)
Pattern created from your measurements
Hand-finished exterior details
Multiple fittings to achieve a perfect fit
Meets all Savile Row bespoke standards
8-10 week turnaround
True Bespoke - Bench-Made (starting at $4,800):
Made entirely in-house by master tailor Ian MacMillan
90% hand-finished (vs. substantial hand-finishing for semi-bespoke)
Hand-padded lapels and body, hand-sewn buttonholes, hand-attached sleeves and much more
Full canvas construction (no fusing anywhere)
12-16 week turnaround
The difference: True bespoke represents the absolute highest level of craft - comparable to top Savile Row houses. The drape, longevity, and feel are noticeably superior.
Most clients start with semi-bespoke. If you fall in love with the process and want the ultimate garment, true bespoke is the next level.
-
