Both let you personalise the style, leather and finish. Made-to-order uses an existing last and stock sizing; bespoke uses a personal last made for your feet. A last is the shaped form a shoe is built around.

Path 01 · Made-to-Order · from $600
Personalise the style, leather, sole and finish. We use a 3D foot scan to guide the choice of an existing last and stock size. Made-to-order is available for men and women; it does not include a personal last.
Oxfords, derbies, loafers, boots, and evening shoes, each customizable by leather, suede, sole, and finish across more than 100 materials. You design the pair at the atelier with the samples in front of you, and our guidance beside you.
We scan your feet at the Toronto atelier and use that information to guide stock-size selection. The scan helps us assess sizing; it does not make the shoe bespoke. Your chosen pair is machine-made to order in Valencia with Goodyear-welted construction. Allow about five weeks.
Path 02 · Bench-Made Bespoke · from $2,200
Bespoke starts with a last made for your feet: the shaped form around which the shoe is built. We take eight measurements and drawings of each foot for our shoemaker, then assess a fitting shoe before the final pair is made. Currently available for men.

A fitting shoe is made on your personal last and tried on before the final pair is built. This lets us assess the fit and identify adjustments. A first bespoke commission typically involves two to three visits, including this fitting stage.
Your shoes are made by hand and hand-welted. A custom lasted shoe tree is included to support their shape between wears. Welted construction allows the soles to be replaced when needed.
Bench-made commissions begin with a conversation at the atelier, about your feet, your wardrobe, and what the pair is for.

Our custom shoe offering is for dress and lifestyle footwear. It is not an orthopaedic footwear service, and our bespoke shoes are not a replacement for prescribed orthotics.

Made-to-order shoes take about 5 weeks; bench-made bespoke about 10 weeks including the fitting shoe stage. If your shoes need to arrive with a suit or tuxedo for a wedding or event, tell us the date at your first appointment and we will plan both timelines together.
Yes, made-to-order shoes are available for men and women, in the same 50 styles and 100+ materials, sized from a 3D scan. Bench-made bespoke shoes are currently available for men.
For made-to-order, a 3D scan helps us select from stock sizes and existing last shapes. The scan does not create a personal last. For bespoke, measurements and drawings of each foot inform a personal last, followed by a fitting shoe to assess the fit before making the final pair.
Patina is colour applied to the leather by hand, in layers, after the shoe is made. It gives the leather a depth and gradation factory dyeing cannot reproduce, and because it is painted by hand, no two pairs come out the same. Available on both paths.
