Do you make custom outerwear for men and women?
Yes. The London Bespoke Club makes overcoats, topcoats, trench coats and casual outerwear for men and women at 146 Yonge Street, 2nd Floor, Toronto, ON, M5C 1X6. Our dedicated staff trained in women’s tailoring guide women’s commissions. Every coat is cut to an individual pattern drafted from your 30+ measurement fit profile, the same discipline we apply to our suits, and fitted in-house until immaculate.
How is a bespoke overcoat different from one off the rack?
An off-the-rack coat is cut to a factory block and guessed at your shoulders. A bespoke overcoat starts with a pattern drafted from scratch for you, is fitted over the tailoring you actually wear, and is refined at fittings until it hangs cleanly. On a garment this large, the difference is visible across the street.
What fabrics do you use for overcoats?
Cashmeres, wools, and coating cloths from the world's great mills, including Loro Piana, Colombo Cashmere, Piacenza, Dormeuil, and Holland & Sherry, chosen by hand from one of the largest luxury fabric collections in Canada. You feel every option in person before deciding.
How much does a bespoke overcoat cost?
Bespoke overcoats and outerwear at The London Bespoke Club start at $1,900, priced the same way as our suiting: the starting point is fixed, and the cloth decides the rest. The same coat in a robust wool and a pure cashmere are very different commitments. Pricing is reviewed openly at your consultation, before anything is commissioned.
How long does bespoke outerwear take?
Outerwear follows the same timelines as our suits: around 10 weeks for a first semi-bespoke commission, typically 5 weeks for repeat commissions once your pattern is established, and approximately 4–5 months for bench-made bespoke. Share any deadline at your consultation so we can confirm what is possible.
Should the coat fit over my suits?
Yes, and that is exactly how we fit it. Bring or wear the tailoring you use most, and we cut the coat to layer over it: clean at the shoulder, room through the chest, no pulling when you button it over a jacket.
Do you make casual outerwear too, or only formal coats?
Both. Alongside overcoats, topcoats and trenches, we make cropped jackets, field coats, blousons and relaxed coats for men and women, each cut to an individual pattern. The weekend coat gets the same standard as the boardroom one.
