Su Misura 2025: The Only Canadian Tailor in the Room

August 17, 2026 · Updated September 30, 2026

Tailored garments displayed in the ornate rooms of Milano su Misura

In 2025, Loro Piana and Arbiter magazine jointly invited The London Bespoke Club to Milano su Misura in Milan. We were the only Canadian tailor invited to compete.

The invitation recognised the quality of the garments we produce through our bench-made bespoke programme. It was an opportunity to put that work alongside some of the most accomplished makers in the world.

Recognition for the work at the bench

An individual pattern, careful construction and hours of skilled handwork all contribute to the finished garment. For us, the invitation recognised how those details come together in our bench-made tailoring.

Competing at this level gave us the chance to present our work among makers we admire. It is a point of pride for our Toronto atelier and the people who commission their garments with us.

What it means for your commission

Our bench-made programme brings that same care to your garment, with 80+ hours of handwork and 4–5 fittings. The aim is personal: a garment shaped around your measurements, preferences and the way you want to wear it.

You can explore Loro Piana cloths in person at the atelier. We will help you compare their feel, weight and drape, and choose what suits your commission.

Come in. Explore the Fabric Library.

Visit us at 146 Yonge Street to browse the cloth and talk through your ideas. Your consultation is free, unhurried and without obligation.
